Network Security Administrator

The Network Administrator will administer and oversee the implementation, organization, and troubleshooting of the network, hardware, and maintain the organizations network systems.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing, maintaining and overseeing the security of networks, systems, and data
- Developing and enforcing the company’s security policies and procedures
- Identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Performing regular audits to ensure that systems and networks are operating securely
- Providing training and guidance to staff on information security best practices
- Managing user access control and authentication
- Responding to security breaches and incidents and conducting thorough investigations into what occurred
- Setup and administration of Checkpoint firewalls
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and control measures
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards for information security
- Designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Monitors the assigned network, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.
- Monitors and analyzes network load including traffic and utilization trends.
- Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures or collaborating with network security staff.
- Drafts checklists, processes, and support trees, and knowledge bases for help desk and other support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Adherent to all Federal and Local Safety laws
- Follow T5 data center corporate policies and procedures
- All other duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5FM management
Travel Requirements:
- ~25-30%
