Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Neuro Hospitalist (Inpatient, 7-on/7-off)

Overview
A leading neurological and stroke care program in the Denison area is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join its Neuro Hospitalist team. This full-time inpatient position offers structured scheduling, clinical autonomy, and exposure to complex neurological cases in a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient management for patients with stroke, seizures, neurotrauma, and other acute neurological conditions.

• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, formulate and adjust care plans, and document progress.

• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and hospital medicine teams to ensure coordinated care.

• Participate in acute stroke responses and rapid assessment protocols.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations.

• Contribute to performance improvement and quality initiatives.
