Job Overview

As the Director of Product Management for Nielsen’s Advanced Audiences, you will define and execute the strategic vision for audience-based measurement, activation, and currency solutions across linear, digital, and streaming platforms. This role is critical in enabling the industry’s transition to impression-based buying and audience-first planning, helping clients transact on advanced audiences with confidence and scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product design and execution for Nielsen’s Advanced Audiences platform used by agencies, advertisers, publishers, and platforms, with a special focus on linear planning measurement products. 

  • Drive innovation and adoption of audience-based buying and measurement, ensuring seamless interoperability with partners such as OpenAP, Data Fusion Exchange (DFX), clean rooms, DSPs, and data onboarding providers.

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from audience definition and onboarding to cross-platform activation, campaign delivery, and outcomes measurement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Commercial, and Partnership teams to operationalize scalable audience solutions across all major media types (Linear TV, CTV, OTT, and Digital).

  • Integrate Nielsen’s identity graph, panel data, and modeled datasets to power advanced audience segments that are privacy-safe, deterministic, and globally consistent.

  • Analyze market trends and client needs to shape a competitive roadmap for audience-based currencies, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

  • Represent Advanced Audiences externally, presenting product strategies, updates, and roadmaps to executive leadership, agencies, publishers, and industry partners.

  • Ensure operational excellence, delivering products on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, representativeness, and compliance.

  • Define and track KPIs related to audience coverage, match rates, activation velocity, adoption by buy- and sell-side clients, and revenue growth from advanced audience products.
