Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Evening Cosmetology Educator to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional instruction to aspiring cosmetologists during evening sessions. Your responsibilities will include teaching a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of cosmetology, ensuring students receive the knowledge and experience required to excel in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging lectures and hands-on demonstrations on cosmetology techniques, including hair, skin, and nail care.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experiences.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date lesson plans that reflect current beauty industry trends and practices.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance program curricula and instructional methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in all practical applications.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License.
- Significant experience in the cosmetology field is required.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student education and development.
- Availability to teach evening classes, typically from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM CST.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
