Position Overview:
As a Student Success Advisor at Tricoci University, you will play a crucial role in supporting students on their educational paths. Your guidance will help them navigate their academic challenges and achieve their personal and professional goals. This position is about fostering a culture of success, motivation, and community among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationships with students to create an environment of support and encouragement.
• Provide tailored academic and career advice, helping students to identify and work towards their goals.
• Monitor student attendance and academic progress, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
• Facilitate access to academic resources, workshops, and tutoring services that support student success.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify at-risk students and develop strategies for their success.
• Conduct orientation sessions to help new students acclimate to the university resources and culture.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions and progress for continuous improvement.
• Organize student engagement activities that foster community and enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

• Experience in education, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in student advising, mentoring, or related roles, particularly in an educational or beauty environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Understanding of the academic challenges students may face and effective strategies for support.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Passion for advocating for student success and a strong interest in the beauty industry.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
