Job Overview
- Teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and clinical settings, focusing on obstetrics
- Collaborate with faculty to develop, administer, and grade course materials and examinations
- Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and clinical skills
- Participate in curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives, and program assessment
- Orient and mentor new faculty members in both theory and clinical instruction
- Utilize adult learning principles and integrate technology in teaching methods
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, technologies, and safety regulations in obstetrics
- Participate in faculty meetings, committee activities, and student advising
- Ensure clinical assignments meet both student learning objectives and facility requirements
- Submit required reports and forms to the program director in a timely manner
- Maintain professional development and contribute to the nursing program's mission and goalsPay: $60-68hr for per diem DOE
