Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Archive Assistant (12-16 hours per week) to support the maintenance and management of the Model Space. The Archive Assistant will play a key role in cataloging, preserving, and organizing architectural models, ensuring they are accessible and well-maintained for internal use and external presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cataloging and Documentation:

    • Accurately document and catalog architectural models, including metadata such as project name, date, scale, and materials.

    • Maintain and update the digital archive system for easy retrieval of models.

  • Model Preservation and Maintenance:

    • Ensure models are stored in optimal conditions to prevent damage or deterioration.

    • Perform regular inspections and minor repairs on models as needed.

  • Organization and Accessibility:

    • Organize the Model Space archive to ensure models are easily accessible for team members.

    • Assist in preparing models for presentations, exhibitions, or client meetings.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with project teams to ensure models are accurately represented and available when needed.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain an inventory of materials and supplies needed for model preservation and repairs.

    • Assist in creating guidelines or manuals for model handling and storage.
