About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a UK-based financial services provider that offers interest-free payment solutions, primarily within the automotive sector.

 We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to lead our growth across the independent garage sector in the South of England.

Responsibilities:

  • Target, engage, and win new business across independent garages, MOT centres, tyre shops, and retail automotive outlets.
  • Build trust with garage owners and managers by understanding their pain points and offering solutions that make a difference.
  • Run product demos and present clearly how our payment services benefit their customers and bottom line.
  • Own your territory – driving activity, managing your pipeline, and converting prospects into loyal clients.
  • Represent the brand at local trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  •  Proven experience in field sales, ideally in automotive.
  • A confident, engaging personality – someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting clients face-to-face.
  • Solid understanding of the independent garage landscape or ability to quickly grasp the nuances of this fast-moving market.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the South (including areas such as London, the Southeast, and Southwest).

 

In return we are offering:

  • A competitive basic salary of £45,000 (plus OTE of £20,000).
