Test Engineer

We are seeking experienced Test Engineers who are passionate about quality engineering and eager to take ownership of test automation frameworks, influence release strategies, and contribute across distributed systems, ML-driven features, and product workflow surfaces.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Automation Engineering

• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium
• Build and enhance API automation using RestAssured or Postman
• Contribute to cross-service automated test suites within distributed environments

Test Strategy & Quality Ownership

• Create comprehensive test plans for new features across applications, platforms, and ML components
• Champion automation-first testing approaches and improve testing efficiency across engineering pods
• Enhance test coverage, reduce flakiness, and improve overall reliability
• Troubleshoot issues across logs, APIs, databases, and event-driven systems
• Participate in release planning and help strengthen CI workflows

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner closely with engineering, product management, platform, ML, and frontend teams
• Mentor junior QA/SDET engineers and help elevate engineering quality across teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Test Automation / SDET roles
• Strong expertise in Playwright/Selenium and RestAssured/Postman
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL
• Hands-on experience designing and improving automation frameworks
• Ability to think from an engineering perspective with a problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Exposure to Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Experience working in distributed systems or event-driven architectures
