We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead operations for a luxury jewellery boutique in Delhi and Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing retail team while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused functioning.
- Maintain adherence to SOPs, retail standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage visual merchandising to reflect brand aesthetics and seasonal themes.
- Conduct routine audits for hygiene, inventory accuracy, security, and compliance.
2. Sales & Performance Management
- Drive overall and category-wise sales performance; achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Review KPIs such as footfall conversion, average bill value, and customer trends to optimize outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance repeat business and customer retention.
- Coordinate with merchandising teams for stock planning and timely replenishment.
3. Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, coach, and motivate the boutique team including sales staff, cashiers, and front-desk personnel.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to improve product knowledge and elevate customer service.
- Support career development and evaluate individual and team performance regularly.
4. Customer Experience Excellence
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the boutique’s luxury positioning.
- Resolve escalated concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Foster a customer-first culture throughout the store team.
- Utilize customer feedback to improve service quality and satisfaction scores.
5. Inventory & Loss Prevention
- Manage daily stock checks, opening/closing reconciliations, and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to maintain healthy stock levels and avoid excess inventory.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and ensure staff are trained on safety protocols.
- Oversee locker safety, daily stock transfers, and overall inventory integrity.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Passion for luxury retail and high-touch customer service
- Knowledge of jewellery (gold, diamonds, precious stones) preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with command over retail KPIs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with POS and inventory software systems
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Retail Management, Business, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role (luxury retail or jewellery preferred)
- Fluency in English and the local language (Hindi for Delhi / Kannada for Bengaluru)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
