HOUSTON - Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities focused on polyacrylamide and related chemical solutions
  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across the Oil & Gas value chain
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and closing
  • Provide technical insights and product support to clients, including application guidance
  • Collaborate with the R&D and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands
  • Attend customer visits, site demonstrations, and relevant trade events


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or business development in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Specific experience selling polyacrylamide or water-soluble polymers preferred
  • Strong understanding of chemical usage in fracturing, drilling fluids, or produced water treatment
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication, client management, and strategic selling skills
  • Based in Houston, TX, with up to 30% regional travel
