Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, onsite Project Scheduler to support a large-scale data center project in Haskell, Texas. This role requires scheduling expertise with Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. The Scheduler will provide accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
The position involves close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives to maintain schedule integrity and drive project success. Work Location:
This role is based on site in Haskell, Texas. Work will be performed in both office and active construction environments, requiring regular field walks and coordination with project teams and contractors.
Relocation assistance may be available to qualified applicants.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed CPM schedules within Primavera P6 for the project, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company standards and specifications.
- Collect, validate, and integrate schedule data from project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain accurate and timely updates.
- Establish and manage baseline schedules, track performance, and analyze variances or risks through critical path, float, and logic assessments.
- Prepare cost- and resource-loaded schedules to support earned value analysis, cash flow forecasting, and other performance metrics.
- Generate and present schedule reports, narratives, and KPI summaries for management and client review, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Conduct what-if and time impact analyses to evaluate potential delays, risks, and recovery strategies as the Project progresses and potential impacts are realized.
- Lead and participate in schedule coordination and planning sessions (including pull planning and commissioning meetings) to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Communicate complex scheduling concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining thorough documentation and records.
- Perform additional related duties as required to support project and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required 10+ years of experience preferred including scheduling or other relevant field work.
- Experience with Data Centers preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
- Proven experience scheduling large-scale data center, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be in or willing to relocate to Haskell, Texas; this is a full-time onsite role.
