IT Project Manager – M&A Integration

Summary:
The IT Project Manager – M&A Integration will lead technology initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of systems, infrastructure, and data across acquired entities. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Information Technology, this strategic and hands-on leader will manage cross-functional projects, mitigate risks, and support business continuity throughout the M&A lifecycle. The role requires strong project management expertise, technical fluency, and the ability to collaborate across departments and external partners.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead IT due diligence efforts during mergers and acquisitions, including comprehensive technology evaluations and risk assessments.
- Develop and execute integration plans for systems, infrastructure, and data migration
- Coordinate with IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to align integration activities
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers involved in M&A projects
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout integration
- Track and report on project milestones, risks, and outcomes using PM tools
- Maintain documentation for integration processes and project governance
- Communicate regularly with executive leadership and stakeholders
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years focused on M&A or enterprise integration
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms
- PMP or equivalent project management certification highly desirable
- Experience with Microsoft 365, NetSuite, Concur, and Egnyte preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation
- Demonstrated ability to produce timely, high-standard work while managing multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
