Responsibilities and authority
The Technical Account Manager will report to VP Middle East.
The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for technical support and account management activities in the UAE. This will include all internal and external communications within the UAE while also practicing cost control related to UAE specific operations.
Main tasks
Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:
- Efficient account management and good contacts with all Customers.
- Attend CWOP and well planning meetings with clients.
- Perform risk assessments for complex and first-time installations.
- Completion Schematic and program input and review for each installation.
- Customer and end-user product training.
- Make suggestions for and undertake product, quality and productivity improvements.
- Assistance with technical marketing support.
- Responsible for location/Area service quality including investigations and follow ups with the clients.
- Ensures excellence in service delivery through the promotion and application of training programs, quality programs, job audits, effective maintenance systems and benchmarking.
- Obtains client feedback (internal & external) on overall product performance and customer service levels.
- The provision of technical and commercial support for Sales & Operations of the Product Line/s.
- Develop new business opportunities by introducing existing and new technologies.
- Establish key account management relationships and maintain good contacts with all Customers.
- Provides a visible QHSE commitment and presence and participate in programs and initiatives.
Requirements for competences
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering or similar with over 7 years relevant experience. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of qualifications.
- Experience with customer and vendor management, related to offshore activities or other industries with strict requirements for quality.
- Systematic, independent and analytical.
- Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others.
- Good verbal and written formulation in English.
