Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for a Project Controller for one of our customers based in Ågotnes.

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial control of assigned projects, ensuring cost efficiency, budget adherence, and reliable forecasting

  • Own and deliver monthly project financial reporting, providing clear analysis of gross margin, variations, and risks in close collaboration with the Project Manager

  • Drive forecasting and budget reviews, supporting predictable results and better decision-making

  • Ensure timely invoicing and actively manage cash flow, including AR, WIP, and unbilled positions

  • Act as a business partner to Project Managers, providing insight, challenge, and financial guidance

  • Identify and drive continuous improvements through simplification, standardization, and efficient ways of working

  • Work closely with project teams and cross-functional functions to ensure aligned project financials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant experience

  • Experience in project controlling, with a solid understanding of cost control and project financials

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into insights

  • A structured and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to meet deadlines

  • The confidence to challenge and support stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner

  • Ability to identify deviations and proactively drive follow-up actions

  • Good understanding of internal controls and financial processes

  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, and ability to collaborate across functions

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Office 365 tools
