Job Overview

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the organization’s inside sales function to drive revenue growth and pipeline development. This role manages the inside sales team, oversees day-to-day sales operations, and ensures consistent execution of outbound and inbound sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Operations & Performance Management

  • Oversee daily inside sales operations, including lead management, outreach activities, and pipeline movement

  • Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required

2. Inside Sales Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and manage the inside sales team to deliver high-quality prospect engagement

  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and pipeline reviews

  • Handle escalations related to lead quality, prospect objections, and sales process challenges

3. Pipeline, CRM & Reporting

  • Own and enforce accurate CRM usage, data hygiene, and sales documentation standards

  • Track and report on sales activities, conversion rates, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy

  • Ensure timely reporting to stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations

4. Sales Strategy & Enablement

  • Develop and refine inside sales strategies, call frameworks, outreach cadences, and messaging

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Field Sales, and Leadership to align campaigns and targeting

  • Support onboarding, training, and continuous development of inside sales team members

5. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency through process optimization and automation

  • Partner with Sales Operations and Leadership to improve tools, workflows, and reporting

  • Drive continuous improvement in inside sales execution and customer engagement practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or sales operations

  • Proven experience managing and scaling inside sales or BDR teams

  • Strong understanding of sales pipelines, CRM systems, and KPI-driven environments

  • Experience working closely with Marketing and Field Sales teams
