OCC Duty Manager
Job Overview
Hello! We are Volotea, the airline of small and mid-sized cities in Europe.
Your mission is simple — but never boring: keep our operations running smoothly, safely, and on time.
You’ll be the main decision-maker during live operations, coordinating our OCC teams — from Dispatch and Crew Control to Maintenance and Ground Ops — to make sure every flight takes off safely and efficiently.

How will it be to work with us?
- Oversee real-time flight operations and responding to disruptions like weather or technical issues.
- Make quick, informed decisions to minimize delays and passenger impact.
- Launch the Emergency Response Plan if needed and ensuring proper communication.
- Support dispatch with flight planning, risk assessment, and operational analysis.
- Manage last-minute flight permits, slots, and changes — with precision and calm.
- Identify and suggest improvements to OCC processes and systems.

What will make you succeed in this position:
You’re the kind of person who stays cool under pressure and enjoys bringing order to complexity.
You know that great operations come from great teamwork — and you love being the bridge that keeps everything connected.
- At least 2 years of experience in aviation or airline operations (dispatch, OCC, airport ops, etc.).
- Training or certification as a Flight Dispatcher, Pilot, or Aeronautical Engineer is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of EASA AIR-OPS, flight planning, and ATC systems.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (French or Italian are a plus!).
- Analytical, decisive, and calm — especially when things get intense.
- Willing to work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.
- A true team player with a proactive mindset and solid communication skills.
