IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "PA.CON II"
Job Overview
Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Pannonia-Adria Connection II - PA.CON II", under the Interreg Interreg IPA CBC Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro programme.
The objective of the Interreg project "PA.CON II" enhances the potential of natural resources and develops sustainable tourism activities in the cross-border region. Through investments in tourism infrastructure, the partnership aims to improve the attractiveness of three project locations: Sopotac picnic area in Nijemci (HR), Ilinčica picnic site in Tuzla (BA) and National Park Lovćen (ME). Development of eco-friendly tourism services focused on birdwatching, recreation and outdoor activities will strengthen the capacities of insufficiently valorised sites to attract new visitors.
The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities:
Support communication and visibility activities by creating digital content (social media, articles, photos and videos) promoting project's results and tourisms sites;
Assist in organising of events, workshops and study visits related to sustainable tourism and nature protection;
Support activities related to visitors engagement at tourism sites, including interpretation of natural heritage and assistance to visitors;
Contributing to awareness-raising activities focused on biodiversity, birdwatching and sustainable tourism;
Collect and document project's results, including preparation of success stories an promotional material.
Other information:
Financial support of: 35.68 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).
Location: Podgorica, Montenegro
Start and duration: May, for 2 months.
Deadline for application: 19 April.
