Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the supplier base for small-volume orders (prototype suppliers);
- Continuous screening and benchmarking of suppliers;
- Develop suppliers towards quality and cost;
- Acts as a project buyer to the MSP department;
- Acts as a project buyer to the MPP Central Development Team;
- Acts as the PSM function in ADP (predevelopment) projects;
- Ensures that prototypes are sourced and delivered in time and quality;
- Requests offers from potential supplier;
- Includes strategic suppliers in our development processes;
- Raises awareness in the commodity for future focus parts;
- Ensures transparency towards customers on PR status and timing;
- Tracks purchase requests in transparent reporting;
- Escalates if delivery is postponed.
