Position Summary

To ensure all Finance-related requirements of WF Asia are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with internal policies and statutory standards.

Key responsibilities

1.     FINANCE

Accounts Payable Operations

General Ledger & Month-End Closing

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring 3-way match (PO-GRN-Invoice) where applicable.

  • Perform validation of vendor documentation, tax requirements, and completeness of supporting documents.

  • Prepare payment runs(checks, online banking, ACH) in accordance with the disbursement schedule.

  • Maintain an updated AP aging schedule and ensure timely settlement of due invoices.

  • Coordinate with vendors regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and statement reconciliations.

  • Review and monitor employee expense reimbursement requests for compliance with company policy.

  • Handle confidential payroll and consultant payments, ensuring accuracy and security of information.

  • Serve as the company's petty cash custodian and ensure timely replenishment and proper documentation.


General Ledger & Month-End Closing

  • Prepare journal entries for accruals, amortizations, and adjustments.

  • Maintain accurate and organized GL schedules (e.g., prepayments, accruals, AP reconciliations).

  • Perform monthly AP-to-GL reconciliation to ensure accuracy of balances.

  • Assist in preparing trial balance reports and supporting financial schedules.

  • Support the Finance Manager in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.


Compliance, Controls & Documentation

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment proofs, and reconciliations.

  • Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.

  • Assist in both internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.

  • Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal control standards.


Banking & Payment Processing

  • Prepare online banking transactions and batch payment uploads.

  • Ensure bank transactions are supported and properly encoded in the general ledger.

  • Support bank reconciliation processes as required.


Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with Procurement, HR, Operations, and other departments to resolve financial and billing-related issues.

  • Provide financial data, reports, and insights to support operational decision-making.

  • Support special projects, systems enhancements, or process automation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or related field; a CPA qualification is an advantage.

  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or related finance roles.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes.

  • Experience using ERP/accounting systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with general office equipment familiarity.

  • Highly organized and dependable, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with internal and external partners while upholding high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
