Strategic Key Account Manager (Industrial Water Solutions - F&B, Europe)

Job Overview

This role focuses on managing and growing strategic key accounts within the Food & Beverage sector across Europe, with a strong emphasis on industrial water treatment and purification solutions. You will be responsible for building long-term partnerships, driving revenue growth, and positioning tailored technical solutions aligned with client operations and regulatory environments.

The position combines commercial ownership with technical understanding, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact, long-term value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with key Food & Beverage clients across European markets

  • Drive revenue growth through account expansion, cross-selling, and long-term partnership development

  • Lead strategic account planning aligned with client business objectives and operational needs

  • Deliver tailored technical and commercial solutions in water treatment and monitoring systems

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high service quality and customer advocacy

  • Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and product teams to align solutions and execution

  • Conduct high-level commercial negotiations and manage complex deal cycles

  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategy

  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management or technical sales within industrial water treatment or related sectors

  • Proven experience working with Food & Beverage clients in a B2B industrial environment

  • Strong technical understanding of instrumentation, monitoring systems, or water purification/production processes

  • Track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex, long-term client relationships

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills at senior stakeholder level

  • Fluency in English and French (C1/C2)

  • Additional European language (e.g. German) is a strong advantage

  • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 1-2 days per week)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, life sciences, or business
