We are currently recruiting for Senior Warehouse Operator at our Almere office in the Netherlands.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Warehouse Operator to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and support inventory, logistics, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical skills to support operational performance tracking, inventory optimization, and regulatory compliance. Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is essential due to the regulated nature of the products.

What You'll Be Doing:

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods (medical devices and accessories).

  • Accurately store materials in designated locations and update inventory records.

  • Perform order picking, packing, labelling, and dispatch activities.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation conditions according to medical device standards (e.g., temperature, sterility, shelf life).

  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and compliance with safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.

 Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and expiry dates to ensure product availability and reduce waste.

  • Track lot numbers, batch records, and serial numbers in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using warehouse/inventory management systems (e.g., Syspro, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP tools).

 Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse warehouse and logistics KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, stock turnover, and shrinkage.

  • Identify trends, variances, and inefficiencies in inventory and propose actionable improvements.

  • Generate weekly/monthly reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.

  • Support audit processes with data and documentation (internal, external, or regulatory).

 Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant SOPs, quality systems, and health and safety regulations.

  • Assist in implementing corrective actions following non-conformance reports (NCRs).

  • Work closely with QA/RA teams to ensure traceability and regulatory adherence.

 Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with procurement, production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.

  • Support demand planning and forecasting with inventory and usage data insights.

Your skills and experience

Essential:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).

  • Analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts); knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

Desirable:

  • Preferably English and Dutch speaker and reader
