Job Overview

Leading and organizing an effective Group & Event Sales Team including recruitment, training, development and supervision in compliance with the Kempinski Standards.
 
Monitoring, supervising and constantly improving the Service Quality of the Department/Hotel
Consolidation and advancement of the hotel’s market position in the Event & Group domain
Revenue maximization in Event & Group field to reach or surpass the predetermined budget
Comprehensive over-departmental communication to ensure highest possible guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The job of Director of Sale - MICE is executed satisfactorily when:
  • The hotel achieves its Financial Objectives.
  • The MICE Sales Team that the person is responsible for achieves their revenue objectives.
  • The person achieves their personal objectives.
  • Assists the DOSM in setting incentive targets and follows up with each team member to encourage them to reach those targets.
  • The performance review is carried out to the satisfaction of both General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Ensures contracts are sent in a timely manner and that deposits are collected within the contract period
  • Assistant to conduct a self-audit monthly to comply with the compliance requirements of all all Kempinski Internal Risk Assessment (KIRA Audit) and various types of external audits.
