Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for an Energy Advisor for one of our customers based in Stavanger.

Duration: 07.04.2026 - 31.12.2026, with option for extension

Responsibilities:

As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's drilling and development activities in the coming years.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations:

• Responsible for follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities

• Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments

• Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts

• Support in government correspondence

• Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction

• Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters

• Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners

Requirements:

• Relevant higher university degree

• 5-10 years' relevant experience

• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards

• Extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments

• High level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Client needs and general business conditions

• Full command of the English and Norwegian languages
