YOUR MISSION
To lead the operational and creative excellence of FlightStory’s Central Production team - the multidisciplinary creative engine behind every campaign, brand partnership, and internal marketing initiative that extends beyond our core shows.
You’ll report to the Executive Studio Director and oversee the end-to-end production of video, design, and motion content that supports our IPs, our brand partners, and our internal marketing team - ensuring everything we make is produced with precision, authenticity, and emotional craft.
Your mission is to bring world-class operational structure and creative discipline to a fast-moving creative ecosystem, ensuring every project - from a global brand campaign to a simple in-house asset - meets FlightStory’s creative, commercial, and editorial standards.
OUTCOMES
1. Operational Excellence Across Central Production
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of all non-show creative output across video, design, and motion teams.
Build and maintain scalable production systems that support multiple concurrent projects - from global campaigns to internal brand content.
Ensure every project runs on time, on budget, and to the creative standards that define FlightStory.
Drive continuous improvement across planning, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency through rigorous process management and clear communication.
2. End-to-End Production Oversight
Lead the full production lifecycle - from intake and scoping to delivery - across all brand, marketing, and internal creative campaigns.
Oversee pre-production planning, risk management, and resource scheduling across all teams.
Line manage the Head of Video, Head of Design, Senior Creative Producer, and Production Managers to ensure they have the support they need to balance ambition with feasibility and operational discipline.
Maintain FlightStory’s supplier network and freelancer roster, ensuring the right talent is deployed to the right project at the right time.
3. Strategic Alignment & Creative Integrity
Act as the operational and creative bridge between Central Production, Commercial, Longform, Marketing, and Venture teams to align on timelines, scope, and deliverables.
Ensure every external-facing campaign is technically excellent and meets delivery targets.
Work closely with Marketing, Speakers, and Venture leads to anticipate content needs for launches, campaigns, and announcements.
4. Leadership, Culture & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary production team including the Head of Video, Head of Design, Production Managers, and Senior Creative Producer.
Foster a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and creative pride.
Drive PPMs, washups, and process refinements to ensure continuous learning and operational evolution.
Work with the Executive Studio Director to forecast capacity, identify future hires, and scale the team sustainably as FlightStory grows.
