US- Learning and Development Lead

We are establishing a Learning Academy to meet the needs of our growing global business and now have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Lead – Global Consultant Programs to be based in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of exceptional individuals who are passionate about developing and enhancing our learning and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic alignment: Collaborate with Head of Global L&D to align L&D delivery program strategy with organizational goals to elevate consultant capability and client value

  • Performance driven: Design, develop/refine and deliver learning initiatives which meet our agreed learning needs and objectives, and support Proxima’s business priorities and client outcomes. Work collaboratively with the L&D team and our partners to create an effective Proxima Academy

  • Platform Management: Leverage our LMS to create engaging content and curriculums to enhance senior consultant and above learning journeys and track learning activities/take up

  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current offerings, identify gaps, and implement improvements that boost effectiveness and relevance

  • Quality & Impact: Ensure the programs are scheduled and delivered on time, consistently, and with measurable impact to drive capability improvements

  • Culture Champion: Foster a culture of growth, engagement, and continuous learning through coaching and dynamic training delivery. Be a face of L&D to the North America region of Proxima.

Your Experience:

  • Proven strong experience in hands-on delivery of professional learning and development, in the US

  • Skilled in instructional design and stakeholder collaboration, with a track record of creating and delivering effective professional services, competency-based learning solutions in an SME

  • Creative and energetic facilitator with excellent coaching, communication, and project management skills

  • Experienced in delivering hybrid learning solutions, with an agile and pragmatic delivery approach to creating content/solutions and a deep care for learning

  • Good listening skills and responsive to requests for advice

  • Ideally understanding procurement or supply chain functions, within a professional services or consultancy environment

  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment in a team that is establishing a new function

  • Flexibility to travel as needed
