CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions, responsible for financing and managing visa application center’s to process their Schengen visa applications.

We currently operate in 10 countries, and welcome more than 250,000 visa applicants each year.

As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Operations department and are looking for experienced Visa Application Officers looking for new challenges within a dynamic and human focused company.

DESCRIPTION 

As Visa Agent Officer you will be the primary point of contact between Capago and visa applicants, ensuring that every interaction is handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidates will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the VAO are as follows:

  • Welcoming all visa applicants in the operated visa application center ;

  • Process the visa application of the applicants (front office) ;

  • Collect payments from the applicants (Payment counter) ;

  • Manage the biometric collection of visa applicants (biometry) ;

  • Manage all back office tasks to finalise the visa application of our applicants (back office) ;

  • Manage all other tasks given by the management.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The requires skills for this position are:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and be accurate in your work ;

  • Ability to adapt to changing visa requirements and procedures ;

  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to work with document management systems and databases ;

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment ;

  • Capable of handling challenging customer interactions with professionalism ;

  • Strong communication skills & empathy ;

  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) ;

  • French is a plus ;

  • Organisation & autonomy ;

  • Good teamwork ;

DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Licence in customer service related field ;

  • Tertiary qualifications is an added advantage ;

  • 2 years experience required ;

  • Strong customer service experience and strong experience in handling customer objections is an advantage.
