As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking a commercially driven Commercial Manager to lead revenue growth initiatives, customer retention strategies, and commercial team performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on customer acquisition, customer retention, account growth, and sales execution. The successful candidate will work closely with existing clients, support key commercial relationships, and drive the performance of the Sales, Account Management, and Marketing functions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience within cloud hosting, managed services, telecoms, SaaS, enterprise technology, or iGaming-related sectors and will have a proven track record of managing teams, growing revenue, and improving customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
Lead and manage the company's commercial operations with a focus on sustainable revenue growth.
Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Establish, monitor, and report on key commercial KPIs.
Drive accountability and performance across the commercial team.
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
Sales Management
Manage and mentor a team of approximately 4β5 employees, including Sales Managers, VIP Account Managers, and other commercial team members.
Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance against objectives.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and pipeline meetings.
Support the sales team in closing strategic opportunities and high-value deals.
Ensure a proactive and results-driven sales culture across the organisation.
Customer Growth & Retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
Act as a senior point of contact for important commercial discussions and customer escalations.
Develop initiatives aimed at increasing customer retention and reducing churn.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
Work closely with VIP Account Management teams to maximise customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns align with commercial objectives.
Monitor lead generation performance and conversion rates.
Support the development of marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition and engagement.
Ensure effective collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams.
Performance Management & Reporting
Monitor and analyse key commercial indicators, including:
Customer Growth
Customer Retention
Customer Churn
Sales Pipeline Performance
Revenue Growth
Account Expansion Opportunities
Produce regular commercial performance reports and recommendations.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial, sales, account management, or business development leadership role.
Proven experience within one or more of the following industries:
Cloud Hosting
Data Centres
Managed Services
Telecommunications
SaaS
Enterprise IT Services
iGaming Infrastructure
Proven track record of growing revenue, managing commercial teams, and improving customer retention.
Experience managing B2B sales cycles and enterprise-level client relationships.
Skills & Competencies

Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Commercially focused with a strong understanding of revenue generation and customer lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.

Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network within the iGaming, FinTech, Hosting, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology sectors.
Experience attending and representing organisations at international conferences and exhibitions.
Understanding of enterprise hosting environments, cybersecurity solutions, and managed services.
Experience working with CRM systems and sales performance reporting tools.
