Job Overview

Location: Cotonou, Benin

About the role:
The Training Manager will work closely with the sales team to ensure field staff and office based staff have acquired the knowledge on processes and tools required for a proper execution of their work, through training, reminders and materials.

What you would be expected to do

  • Overseeing, planning, and delivering training to Energy Officers and Field staff to ensure proper understanding of tools and processes.
  • Planning and delivering training for office-based role staff as advised
  • Spearheading the training and implementation of new pilots, processes, and products to the field teams.
  • Ensure the administration of the Litmos users for agents, field and staff is up to date.
  • Develop impactful content to drive continuous learning for the staff and agents.
  • Share information on issues encountered in the field while using the tools.
  • Coordinating with the field trainers to observe and audit the implementation of customer experience processes and share feedback to the stakeholders.
  • Support with ad-hoc projects related to field activities of EOs or field staff when required.
  • Ensure digital content deployment consistent course uptake on the Learning Management system (Litmos).
  • Monitoring and enforcing usage of training tracking app, setting targets for the field trainers and increasing trainers’ performance and content quality based on automated feedback.
  • Ensuring up to date content and training material reviews for the staff and agents in the market.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of new business initiatives.
  • Mentoring and managing the execution and planning of field trainers to ensure the success of transferring knowledge to the field-based staff.
  • Coordinating and planning monthly training activities with an up to date Learning calendar.

Qualifications / Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Diploma/Certificate in Adult Learning Principles, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service Management.
  • 4-years relevant work experience in a similar role is a requirement. 
  • Experience in working with learning management systems.
