About the role:
The HR Business Partner will assist the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. The role works closely with the HR Leader, East and Southern Africa, to drive a strong performance culture, ensure compliance with HR policies and legislation, and deliver timely payroll and reporting inputs. This position also plays a key role in handling grievances, assisting disciplinary processes, safeguarding employee data, and steering HR projects to advance the company’s people agenda.

This position also plays a key role in handling grievances, assisting disciplinary processes, safeguarding employee data, and steering HR projects to advance the company’s people agenda.
What you will be expected to do:
- Support recruitment of staff across a range of professional levels from associates to senior team leaders within defined Service Level Agreements and budgets.
- Onboarding and induction of new employees
- Working with the HR Lead, East & Southern Africa, to drive a strong performance culture amongst the Madagascar teams
- Handling employee grievances amicably and within reasonable timelines
- Ensuring HR policies are up to date and accessible to all staff
- Attending disciplinary hearings and ensuring disciplinary procedures are followed in line with company policy and relevant legislation
- Ensuring privacy of employee data and maintain up to date personnel files
- Providing timely payroll inputs for processing
- Actively participating in HR projects aimed towards delivering the HR agenda
- Delivering excellent information through weekly and/or monthly HR reports
- Manage performance for field sales teams
