Have you led high-performing sales teams, built smarter processes, and motivated people to hit their best results? This is your chance! We’re looking for a Customer Buying Team Lead to run one of our key sales teams here at Carma! You will coach, nurture, and drive conversion rates, while creating a smooth and trustworthy experience for every seller.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop a team of phone based Car Buying Specialists - champion, coach, and hold them accountable
- Build and embed efficient workflows for customer outreach, negotiations, and deal closure
- Track performance, analyse trends, and use insights to improve team outcomes
- Manage rostering, resource allocation, and leave across the team
- Support daily operations, handle escalations, and answer product questions
- Collaborate with valuations, inspection, and wider business teams to align strategies
- Drive key KPIs like cars purchased, conversion rates, and activity levels
Okay, let's talk about you:
- You’ve got 3+ years experience in leading a sales team and love seeing people grow, hit targets, and celebrate wins along the way
- Motivating, coaching, and holding your team accountable comes naturally - you know how to bring out their best every day
- Conversion rates, pipelines, KPIs? You live for this stuff and love turning insights into action
- Negotiation and communication? You can build trust and close deals with clarity, confidence, and a touch of charm
- You’re structured, process-driven, and always spotting ways to make workflows smoother, faster, and smarter
- You’re flexible, adaptable, and unshakable under pressure- change excites you, not scares you
- Automotive experience is a bonus, but your sales mojo, commercial instincts, and ability to scale a team are what really matter
- Tech-savvy and CRM obsessed (Hubspot experience is a plus!)
- Flexible and ready- you’re cool with a rotating roster and happy to jump in on weekends when needed
- Based in Sydney and ready to energise an onsite, high-energy team
