This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape the future direction of Gravity Global’s largest growth area in a rapidly expanding network agency, and you will be responsible for researching, briefing, and creating high-quality SEO content for client websites.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Content Creation
- Work within client brand guidelines, tone of voice and UX best practices to create effective, user-centric content guided by keyword research and search intent.
On-page Optimization
- Optimize individual pages on a client website to align better with keyword strategy and search intent, ensuring that metadata (title, description), header tags and content are aligned with SEO best practices.
- Monitor and make recommendations for the avoidance of canonicalization/keyword cannibalisation issues, including canonical tags where appropriate to address duplicate content issues and guide search engines on the preferred version of a page.
Internal Linking
- Implement and optimize internal linking structures to improve navigation, distribute link equity, and enhance the overall user experience.
Guide linkable content assets
- Work closely with client stakeholders and Digital PR teams to guide and develop engaging, user-focussed linkable assets that encourage engagement and online linked coverage for our clients.
Stay Updated on SEO Trends
- Stay abreast of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to proactively adjust strategies and maintain optimal performance.
Collaboration with Other Teams
- Work closely with technical SEO and Digital PR colleagues, as well as third party content creators to ensure alignment between on-site SEO efforts and overall client business goals.
Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular reports on on-site SEO performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Communicate SEO content strategies and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience (3+ years) in online content creation and/or on-site SEO optimisation, with a successful track record of driving engagement and organic growth.
- Knowledge of SEO industry best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Experience working with SEO and content research tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Clearscope, Semrush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb etc.
- Ability to present compelling on-site SEO analysis to client stakeholders, supported by more senior members of the team on larger enterprise clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable experience taking and applying colleague and client stakeholder feedback to your work.
