Job Overview


SUMMARY:


The Kitting Associate is responsible for all phases of Kitting, including pulling customer inventory, documenting and updating inventory materials. 



Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pull customer inventory as required in Special Instructions (SIs)
  • Document and update inventory tracking as materials are pulled
  • Kit various documents/supplied inventory as required by the customer
  • Build pre-kitted inventory for use in orders at a later time
  • Visually monitor customer inventory levels and alert Inventory Group of impending shortages
  • Ability to conduct simple quality assurance on production documents and customer inventory 
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Six (6) months experience in a printing environment and Inventory Control experience preferred
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and pressure to meet goals
  • Must be dependable; have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice
  • Team-oriented and flexible
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Must display a strong personal commitment to achieve
  • Strong team player, able to think and act in ways fully supportive of other team members
  • Willing to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach occasionally
