AM Supply Chain Engineer – Packaging
Job Overview
Your responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain Aftermarket packaging systems optimized for protection and presentation;
Collaborate worldwide across cross-functional teams (development, sourcing, manufacturing).
Conduct feasibility and cost analyses;
Analysis of Supply Chain Systems and potentials;
Drive Aftermarket Supply Chain Process Improvements.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering or a comparable technical education.
2–5 years of packaging engineering experience, preferably with automotive or aftermarket exposure.
Experience with tools like SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD are preferred.
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office exist.
Designing and testing packaging, prototyping and ensuring compliance with industry or customer standards.
Familiarity with packaging materials (paper, plastics, foams), containerization, warehouse/transport processes, dunnage, and design-for-transport efficiency.
Work closely with supply chain, engineering, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, and external vendors.
Manage small projects and bill-of-material components; coordinate NPI (New Product Introduction) packaging requirements and supplier deliverables.
Ensure packaging meets IATF, ISO and other regulatory standards.
Drive cost-saving, Lean, and value-stream efficiency in packaging operations.
Fluent in English both written and verbal.
Analytical mindset for process troubleshooting, cost analysis, root‑cause investigations, and performance optimization.
