Highway Design Engineer

We are now looking for a Highway Design Engineer execute projects and support bids in Navi Mumbai.

General requirement for all leading resources

• Minimum of 8 years of experience within their technical field.

• Strong experience with Swedish standards, including:
  - Trafikverket TDOK requiements
  - AMA Anläggning

• Comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary teams

• Experience of coordination with international design teams

• Good communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently in a remote project environment.

Requirements per technical area

Highway design

• Minimum 5 years of experience in road/highway design using Autodesk Civil 3D or Novapoint.

• Experience working on infrastructure projects for the Scandinavian region (Sweden, Norway, or Denmark).

• Strong experience in developing horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, and corridor models using Civil 3D.

• Proficiency in surface modelling, grading design, and corridor modelling for road and infrastructure projects.

• Ability to prepare cross-sections, plan & profile drawings, and construction drawings.

• Experience performing quantity take-offs, earthwork calculations, and volume comparisons for different pavement and surface layers.

• Good understanding of road geometric design principles, drainage concepts, and design standards.
