Head of Client Advisory Services - Occupational Pensions (Bilingual German & French)

Job Overview

Senior leadership role within an occupational pensions / professional benefits institution, responsible for the Client Advisory Services function. This position sits at the intersection of client service excellence, commercial strategy and people management, with a strong focus on Swiss occupational pension schemes (2nd pillar / LPP). This role is designed for experienced pension professionals rather than general customer service or generic insurance managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Client Advisory Services team, ensuring high-quality, proactive service to insured members and corporate clients

  • Define, deploy and continuously evolve the client advisory and commercial strategy in line with institutional objectives

  • Actively manage and improve client-facing processes, workflows and service standards

  • Analyse market trends, competitive positioning and regulatory developments in occupational pensions

  • Drive operational efficiency through process optimisation and clear governance

  • Oversee reporting, KPIs and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making

  • Ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy of client communications (circulars, forms, guidelines)

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (management, communication, operations) to align client strategy

Requirements

  • Strong professional background in occupational pensions / professional benefits

  • Proven people management experience in a client advisory, pensions or insurance environment

  • Solid understanding of Swiss social insurance and pension frameworks (LPP)

  • Federal diploma in social insurance, LPP specialist certification or equivalent qualification

  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational leadership

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into decisions

  • High ethical standards and strong sense of professional responsibility

  • Bilingual German & French (mandatory)

  • Fluent English required for professional and institutional use
