ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Summary:
Responsible for Operating automatic passport assembly machine lines with maximum efficiency, excellent quality, and lowest waste level. Following determined safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
Receives the order, plan and instructions from shift supervisor and set up the machine as per requirements.
Perform daily machine cleanings before and after shift and ensure all safety and traceability devices are enabled.
Ensure exact materials are used as per the production work order.
Follow procedures, work instructions and guidelines to ensure the assembled products meet the required quality standards.
Follow up with the production supervisor and quality team for first set approval before starting the shift production.
Fills all forms and information on time without mistakes related to quality approvals and process parameters daily basis.
Accurate record-keeping of material usage with batch controls, material wastage, production quantities of goods and defects.
During machine stops or restart, always verify that the new assembled product is in sequence with the last assembled product.
To ensure product quality, assembly operators constantly validate the components and final products. Must identify and report any defects to ensure only products that meet the required specifications move on to the next production stage.
Ensure the machines operate efficiently, perform basic maintenance tasks and perform trouble shooting when it occurs.
Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product defects on the assembly line to management on time.
Stopping the assembly line and pausing production if any major machinery fails or a major defect is detected.
Supervise and oversee the output quality of the machines under his shift by keeping meeting the daily output target.
Moving materials and components between workstations involves safely handling of raw and waste materials and finished products to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Undertakes any other assignments as his direct supervisor instructions.
Work closely with other members of the production team, including helpers, other machine operators, quality control personnels and supervisors.
About You
Qualification and Experience
Diploma in Machine Technology, General Mechanics or related field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience machine operations in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, designs, and diagrams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A ‘COC’ certification is a plus.
