We’re looking for a Creative Lead - Healthcare Copywriter who can bring big ideas and poignant storytelling to a complex, fascinating healthcare / pharma (life sciences, diagnostics and chemical markets) brand. You’ll turn deep science and medical products into compelling stories, creating work that connects hearts and minds while staying grounded in accuracy and insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day concept development and craft standout copy across campaigns, digital,
film, events and print, individually and as part of wider
a creative team - Lead creative presentations with the client and foster strong client relationships
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, and medical experts to make the complex
feel clear and compelling - Deliver a consistent tone of voice and elevate every touchpoint of the brand
- Push creative boundaries, while staying compliant and credible.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will have;
- At least 5+ years’ proven, demonstratable experience writing and idea generation for major healthcare and or life-science brands
- An understanding of sector compliance and regulation, knowing how to push disruption, without developing ideas that won’t get past compliance hurdles
- A knack for turning data into ideas and jargon into emotion
- Sharp creative instincts, solid craft, and a collaborative spirit
- The confidence to defend bold thinking (and the humility to take feedback)
- A good understanding of AI tools and how they can help enhance
the creative process - Experience working in a marketing/advertising agency, or similar role in-house
- A natural storyteller who’s imaginative and ideas driven
- A team player who can operate under pressure to tight deadlines
- A great communicator who can engage positively with colleagues and clients
- Possess the ability to remain resilient and enthusiastic throughout the
creative process - Have the desire to build relationships with the team, and to be able to present
and communicate with them effectively - Enjoy working collaboratively as well as part of a creative team (with an Art Director).
