About the role:
As Sun King seeks to expand its business in South Africa, we are looking for an experienced Associate, Human Resource Business Partner, to join the global Human Resources Management team. The Associate Human Resource Business Partner, South Africa, will leverage their expertise to manage the workforce while providing strategic assistance to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.

The Associate Human Resource Business Partner, South Africa, will leverage their expertise to manage the workforce while providing strategic assistance to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.
What you would be expected to do:
- Partnering and helping Sun King's direct entry of its direct-to-consumer pay-as-you-go channel in South Africa.
 - Oversee recruiting, people operations, learning and development, and help all employees by enhancing our Sun King Way culture.
 - Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business to deliver its strategy.
 - Act as a focal point of people expertise and influence and build relationships with people around the business
 - Recruit staff across various professional levels, from associates to senior team managers.
 - Facilitate learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
 - Oversee end-to-end performance management process, including the performance improvement process, employee disciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and so on.
 - Adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
 - Keep abreast of the latest trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
 - Oversee administrative functions to ensure seamless operations.
 
You might be a strong candidate if you:
- Have 3+ years of HR management experience.
 - Have strong partnerships skills to work with cross-functional teams and deliver on expectations.
 - Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related social science subjects.
 - Can fluently communicate in English and other local languages.
