What we are looking for?

We are looking for a Lead, Insurance Product and Proposition to join our growing insurance team!

Responsibilities

Proposition Design
  • Lead and manage the development of insurance propositions, analyzing the feasibility of future strategic offerings through business case preparation, competitor market analysis, and multi-faceted evaluations.
  • Collaborate with insurance partners to create and customize personalized product benefits, features, and packaging specifically for Mox Bank customers.
  • Shape the long-term strategy by monitoring key industry trends, competitive dynamics, and identifying material opportunities for resource allocation.
  • Work alongside the marketing and data analytics teams to gain a thorough understanding of Mox customers, driving the overall proposition design by identifying customer needs, potential product adjustments, and distribution strategies.
  • Co-create product propositions with partners to develop a product roadmap that aligns with the business plan.
Product Development and Management
  • Possess extensive knowledge of savings, protection, and health products, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for long-term insurance products and driving awareness among internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with banking and insurance regulations and maintain full adherence for all insurance products, including licensing support with regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the second line of defense (2LoD) and other stakeholders to implement robust risk controls that meet regulatory and internal requirements. Work with internal teams to identify key risks and issues related to potential product offerings and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the product manager for insurance products, ensuring successful delivery and execution.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets for insurance products through the bancassurance channel, with a focus on life and health insurance.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop product-related training materials, marketing assets, and content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or insurance
  • 10+ years of experience in banking/insurance industry, with 5+ years in a product/proposition related role.
  • Deep understanding of, including customer journey, data-driven decision and proposition design
  • IIQE or other equivalent is a plus, actuarial training is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
