About the role:
We are looking for a Regional Mentor to facilitate learning delivery, develop content and mentoring sales staff & agents within the Region. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our agents and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet their KPIs towards measurable business outcomes. This position will require extensive travel within the region.

What you would be expected to do:

  • Overseeing, planning, and delivering training to SP/FSE’s and Field staff to ensure that the tools and processes are properly assimilated.
  • Delivering classroom and/or field training.
  • Maintaining set KPIs and achieving training targets as required.
  • Designing training assessments with the guidance of the Training Manager.
  • Ensuring 100% adoption and usage of technology-based work tools by all field staff.
  • Driving consistent & accelerated learning performance through data tools.
  • Timely disclosure of policies, training updates & changes to the relevant departments.
  • Collect and provide feedback on the implementation of new tools, products and processes.
  • Running & administration of knowledge-based platforms.
  • Drive engagement & lesson completion of Litmos (learning management system).
  • Induction and mentoring of field-based staff.
  • Provide assistance with the development and improvement of training materials and concepts.
  • Customer experience audit: Coordinating with the programs and field teams to observe and audit the implementation of customer processes and provide feedback to the stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance with ad-hoc projects related to field activities of FSEs/SPs or field staff when required.

You might be a strong candidate if you

  • Advanced Degree/Diploma or equivalent from a recognised institution, preferably a background in Education, or any related field.
  • At least 2+ years of background in training and coaching, preferably in the areas of sales or marketing.
  • Ability to conceptualise and develop a conducive learning environment.
  • Diligence, accuracy, reliability and a high level of care.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other visualisation tools.
  • Process-oriented and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently in remote areas.
  • Conversant with the use of smartphones and phone applications.
  • Knowledge of LMS tools is an added advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and social skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders fluently in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
