Join Our Team as a Freelance Dynamics AX Functional Specialist (0.5 FTE) - home based in Sweden. This will be an initial 6-month engagement, with potential for extension based on business needs.
About this role
As part of our Information Technology team you will working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.
The Freelance Dynamics AX Functional Specialist supports the TFS Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system by gathering and evaluating user requirements, documenting business processes, and configuring DAX system. Ensure proper support of DAX system following Microsoft’s Sure Step methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide application support to super users and end users of the TFS Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system
Review and highlight potential enhancements. Verify business needs, define and document user requirements, recommend solutions, and actively participate in implementation
Perform gap analysis between package functionality and customer requirements. Identify and help design customizations, workaround, or enhancements required to meet customer needs
Define, document, and analyse enhancement and bug fix requests following a formal change management process. Help system users and business owner to prioritize change requests
Coordinate design workshops and create pilot / demo systems to match the customers’ expectations
Assist with training of users on new processes and product
Fulfil service requests and inquiries
Maintain close working relationships with the internal business customer, IT teams, and external vendors to support DAX system
Support existing integrations with other applications and recommend new integrations to improve efficiency and productivity
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above
Minimum of 3 years of DAX functional specialist / consultant experience (full life cycle projects)

Dynamics AX 2012 R3 - Finance
