Due to company growth and international expansion, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Backend Engineer (PHP) to join our team.
Some of the core duties include:
- Defining, interpreting and developing software to written requirements and technical specifications
- Suggesting improvements to existing products and implementing them across our platform.
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product and databases to ensure it is functional and scalable
- Assist QA in defining acceptance tests and performing troubleshooting
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Write clean, well-designed code, following coding standards and best practices
- Working with globally distributed and multi-disciplinary teams
- Participate in mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities
Salary budget for the role ranges from BGN 90,000 to BGN 100,000 based on experience
The experience and skills needed:
- At least 6+ years of experience with web application backend development and a good level of PHP8+ and MySQL
- Practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles
- Solid experience using design patterns
- Experience with Unit and Integration testing
- Experience with SQL, APIs and GraphQL
- Knowledge of web product development and services, with awareness of the full-stack
- A good understanding of building and operating cloud-based microservices
- Good English communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience leading or mentoring others will be advantageous
Salary budget ranges from BGN 85,000 to BGN 95,000 GROSS per year.
