We are seeking an experienced Executive / Senior Executive - Stores to manage our storage operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and provide logistical support to our submersible pumps and motor manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in stores management, preferably in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock Taking: Conduct regular stock taking to ensure accuracy of inventory levels.
- Material Receipt: Verify and receive materials, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
- Stock Register: Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock registers, including recording of material receipts, issues, and stock balances.
- Store Keeping: Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials, spare parts, and equipment.
- Store's Activities: Plan, organize, and supervise store's activities, including material receipt, storage, and issuance.
- Creating GRN: Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all incoming materials, spare parts, and equipment.
- Operating ERP/SAP: Operate ERP/SAP systems for inventory management, material receipt, and stock updates.
- Data Entry: Ensure accurate and timely data entry of inventory transactions, including material receipts, issues, and stock balances.
- Material Inward & Outward: Manage material inward and outward processes, ensuring accurate documentation and authorization.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards in the stores and logistics operations.
- Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of stores personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize stores operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in stores management, preferably in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Certifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is desirable.
