We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Business Operations (all genders) based in Berlin, Germany.

Your mission with us:
The Senior Project Manager - Business Operations drives scalable, cross-functional process and system improvements across a dynamic, fast-changing environment. The role translates business challenges into technical and data-driven solutions, often in greenfield areas without existing structures. It combines strategic thinking with a strong hands-on execution mindset and acts as a key partner to Operations, Tech, Data, Customer Experience, and Partner teams.

This is a senior individual contributor role within the Business Operations job family. It owns high-impact initiatives, system optimizations, and roadmap governance — from concept to execution. The environment includes evolving priorities, ambiguous requirements, and volatile business needs, requiring high adaptability and a strong self-starter mentality.

Your Tasks:

Technical Process & Systems Optimization
  • Lead high-impact improvement projects across customer, partner, and course management processes — including greenfield topics without existing frameworks.
  • Analyze and redesign workflows, identifying structural bottlenecks and implementing scalable, durable solutions.
  • Partner closely with Tech and Data to define technical requirements and coordinate delivery.
  • Maintain and evolve system logic, process flows, integrations, and documentation.
Feedback & Roadmap Management
  • Convert bottom-up operational feedback into a structured initiative pipeline.
  • Own the prioritization logic in a volatile environment with shifting priorities.
  • Maintain a transparent, cross-functional roadmap and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Communicate trade-offs and help teams navigate ambiguity and complexity.
Problem Solving & Systems Configuration
  • Identify operational pain points across the full learner and customer journey.
  • Develop root-cause-oriented solutions for both mature and greenfield processes.
  • Break down complex issues into clear work packages and execute hands-on where needed.
  • Test, iterate, and scale improvements with a focus on resilience and long-term quality.
Technical Setup & Systems Configuration
  • Design and configure technical environments (shared mailboxes, roles, permissions, integrations).
  • Build and pilot new configurations independently, especially where no existing setup exists.
  • Conduct QA and ensure system stability in a fast-moving environment.

Data & Reporting Structure
  • Co-create KPIs, reporting structures, and data models with the Data team.
  • Ensure dashboards and metrics are actionable for operational teams.
  • Validate data quality, proactively flag inconsistencies, and work hands-on on solution paths.

You bring to Lingoda:

  • Extensive experience in Project Management, Business Operations, Technical Operations, BizOps, or Systems/Process Management.
  • Proven delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects — including greenfield initiatives without clear frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, CMS, communication tools, BI tools, and automation platforms.
  • Experience working with data, KPIs, and insights-driven frameworks.
  • Ability to translate operational challenges into structured technical requirements.
  • Advanced problem-solving with strategic and systematic approaches.
  • Experience with process mapping, automation logic, workflow redesign, or CI frameworks.
  • Ability to structure solutions independently even when requirements are unclear.
  • Strong stakeholder alignment skills, excellent cross-functional communication.
  • Able to challenge assumptions constructively and drive decisions.
  • High ownership, autonomy, and ability to drive projects end-to-end without needing constant direction.
  • Native or near Native level of German and fluent English skills
Nice to Have
  • EdTech or education services experience.
  • Workflow automation experience (Zapier, Make).
  • Background in scaling organizations or Business Development Operations.
