The General Manager (GM) - Global Water is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of the operating plan for the Global Water division in APAC. Serving as a member of the leadership team, the GM will oversee forecasting, P&L management, SIOP management, and through collaboration, develop a plan and energize the team to achieve double-digit growth. The GM is responsible for maintaining a customer focused culture, fostering innovation, and ensuring we grow our competitive edge in the mining and groundwater industry.

Key Responsibilities
Forecasting and Planning:
- Develop and implement accurate forecasting models using market trends, customer inputs, analytics to drive business performance and achieve the plan.
- Lead the development of annual and long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and objectives.
- Participate in the development of corporate strategy, applying functional expertise to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas and insights.
- Develop and lead robust Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet customer demand.
P&L Management:
- Develop strategies to increase revenue while controlling costs, balancing short-term performance with long-term sustainability.
- Ensure the achievement of financial targets and manage the P&L to drive profitability and growth.
- Implementing and optimizing processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that operations align with financial goals.

- Lead the development of robust business plans that convert the opportunity into an actionable strategy for prioritization projects, optimization of investments and measurable outcomes.

- Participate in the development and selection of strategic partnerships in the supply chain
- Ensure successful launch of new products into the market, creating strategic actions aligned with the company's strategic plan

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in a Commercial leadership role, with a focus on strategic planning and financial management.
- Proven experience in forecasting, P&L management, and SIOP management.
- Experience integrating acquisitions (preferred)
- Experience in the water business, particularly in Mining and Groundwater (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to balance long-term growth with quarterly performance.
- Experience in setting and achieving stretch goals.
- Action-oriented with a track record of taking initiative and driving results.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to empower and inspire teams.
- Strong collaborator with a customer-focused mindset.
