As a Logistics Agent you are a key player in ensuring the smooth transportation operations of our cultivation and manufacturing facility. This role is perfect for those who thrive on the road and are meticulous about delivering on time, accurately, and safely.
On the daily
- Ensure on-time deliveries and promptly communicate any delays to the Logistics Manager and dispensary.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Verify items and quantities for each delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with order fulfillment or other tasks when deliveries are not required.
- Maintain a working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and perform routine tasks such as tire changes and fluid checks.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with dispensary customers.
- Collaborate with the order fulfillment and sales teams to address delivery-related issues.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Expected to work all scheduled work days, during scheduled hours and report to work on time.
· Other special projects or responsibilities as assigned.
**Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 30 lb. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include hearing in the normal audio range with or without correction. - Have at least 1 year of experience in a general warehouse or formal delivery service setting, with a proven track record of handling deliveries efficiently.
- Drive safely and have a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last 7 years).
- Are skilled at managing time and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Can adapt to a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Are flexible with your schedule, available to work days, evenings, or weekends based on delivery needs.
