๐Ÿ•’ Schedule & Coverage

  • Full-Time weekend availability required (Friday - Sunday's only!)
  • Overnights required

๐Ÿฉบ Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Technical Skills
  • Monitor and manage ICU patients overnight
  • Perform advanced procedures: IV catheter placement, blood draws, radiographs, anesthesia monitoring
  • Assist with internal medicine diagnostics (ultrasound, endoscopy, blood transfusions)
  • Provide post-procedure and critical care monitoring
  • Administer oral, injectable, IV, IM, and SQ medications
  • Support emergency stabilization and triage procedures
Client Communication
  • Update pet owners with patient status overnight
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, home care, and next steps
Team Collaboration
  • Partner with Internal Medicine and ER teams for continuity of care
  • Participate in case rounds and share critical patient insights
Record Keeping
  • Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and logs
  • Document lab results, treatments, and patient progress
Facility Maintenance
  • Keep ICU and treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked

โœ… What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • 2โ€“3 years of veterinary experience in clinical or hospital settings
  • Strong technical skills in anesthesia, radiology, or emergency procedures
  • Comfortable working independently, especially on overnight shifts
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-first mindset
  • Team player who thrives in high-pressure environments
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and restraining animals

๐ŸŒŸ Preferred Experience

  • LVT, RVT, or CVT credentials (preferred, not required)
  • Prior exposure to ICU, Internal Medicine, or Emergency care
  • Familiarity with specialty diagnostics or critical care protocols
