About the team:
Our Creative team shapes how Vintage Cash Cow and our wider group of brands (Arcavindi, our EU branch, and other Vintage Trading companies) communicates with prospective and existing customers. We work across brand and performance marketing channels to create work that inspires, is memorable, and converts.


Working closely with Performance and Brand, we deliver data informed creative that connects emotionally while driving measurable results. As we expand into new markets and channels, our design team is growing its capabilities across brand systems, motion design, conversion led creative, and creative localisation.


About the role:
We are looking for a Visual Designer (Midweight) who thrives at the intersection of creativity and performance.

This role brings together brand graphic design and motion design to deliver assets that capture attention, address customer pain points, foster engagement, and drive conversion. Reporting to the Creative Manager, you will create work across web, digital, social, print and OOH, using test insights and performance data shared with you to shape fresh design hypotheses.

You will help optimise creative based on key performance metrics such as TSR (Thumb Stop Rate), VTR (View Through Rate), CTR (Click Through Rate), CPL (Cost Per Lead), and CVR (Conversion Rate) while contributing to consistent visual storytelling across all Vintage Trading companies.


Getting Started...
  •  Immerse yourself in our brands, tone, and visual identity systems.
  •  Review top performing paid social and digital creative to understand what drives engagement and conversion for a 60+ audience.
  •  Deliver your first suite of creative assets across social, digital, and print.
  •  Establish strong file hygiene, version control, and collaboration practices.


Establishing Your Impact…
  •  Work with the Creative Manager and Paid Social team to design and iterate high performing ad concepts informed by test data shared with you.
  •  Develop modular and adaptable templates for performance channels and brand communications to increase production efficiency.
  •  Introduce new visual approaches and motion formats designed to lift TSR, VTR, and CTR.
  •  Support creative localisation workflows, using UK learnings to guide multilingual creative output for the EU and other markets.


Driving Excellence…
  •  Deliver creative that balances brand storytelling with measurable performance outcomes such as CVR, CPL, and sign ups.
  •  Maintain high creative standards across all channels including digital, motion, print, and out of home, ensuring campaign concepts translate visually across every format.
  •  Support the growth and maintenance of the group wide visual design system for Vintage Cash Cow, Arcavindi, and other Vintage Trading companies.
  •  Translate creative testing insights into actionable design improvements and future campaign strategies, with an eye for identifying winning elements that can be applied across other channels.

Key Responsibilities

Key Goals and Objectives:
  •  Produce multiple creative concepts and variants each week across static and motion for paid social.
  •  Work with our creative team (Copywriter, Photographer and Content Producer) to create integrated campaign concepts and cohesive follow on assets tailored to each channel, ensuring consistent storytelling and visual identity across social, digital, print, and motion.
  •  Develop and maintain reusable templates that reduce creative turnaround time.
  •  Maintain brand compliance and file accuracy across all outputs.
  • Bring creative performance learnings into the design workflow and concept development.
Key Responsibilities:
  •  Design and Production: Create visual assets across paid social, digital, CRM, print, and OOH campaigns for multiple brands.
  •  Motion and Video: Produce short form video edits, kinetic typography, GIFs, and light animations optimised for engagement and TSR.
  • Performance Optimisation: Use creative performance data such as TSR, VTR, CTR, CPL, and CVR to guide iterative improvements.
  •  Creative Testing: Work with the Creative Team, Creative Manager and Channel Owners to plan, produce, and refresh creative variants based on test results.
  • Compliance and Accessibility: Ensure designs meet publisher policies, platform guidelines, and accessibility standards.
  • Asset Management: Maintain organised and version controlled design files across all formats and platforms.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  •  A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  •  Professional design experience in a marketing, creative agency, or preferably in house environment (ideally 3 to 5 years).
  •  A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects across digital, print, and motion, demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
  •  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro and other relevant design tools.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly express creative ideas and collaborate across teams.
  •  A performance driven mindset with an understanding of how creative impacts TSR, VTR, CTR, CPL, and CVR.
  •  Collaborative and creative, able to ideate with cross functional teams and develop original, story led ideas that balance brand and performance needs.
  •  Curious, adaptive, and driven by a test and learn mindset, continually refining creative through insights and iteration.
  •  Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and workflows in Notion or similar tools.
  •  Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities, evolving creative learnings, and new design technologies.
  • Native or advanced English proficiency required.
