TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as a Mail Clerk II enabling you to attain a Tier 3 Public Trust.
This position is an on-site position in Washington, D.C.
The Mail Clerk II plays a vital role in managing the efficient flow of mail for our client. They are responsible for adhering to established procedures for mail security and confidentiality, maintain organized records, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate effective communication.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure mail is properly organized, opened, and categorized as requested.
- Ensure mail is properly received, organized, opened, and categorized daily.
- Utilize automated equipment to open and sort mail.
- Maintain incoming receipt logs for tracking purposes.
- Support data entry by ensuring that key data elements from batched records are accurately recorded in the client's databases.
- Perform data verification by comparing key identifiers to source documents displayed within databases and systems.
- Organize documents for batching and submission to the client for final disposition.
- Assist with special projects such as batched processing and customer correspondence as assigned.
- Scan and organize documents for batching.
- Establish and maintain quality controls to ensure accuracy of work.
- Examine federal record materials and perform preliminary categorization and batching.
- Adhere to good housekeeping and uphold strict adherence to all safety policies.
- Receiving and processing incoming mail.
- Batching records contained within the mail for evaluation by other team members.
- Batching records for final disposition.
- Attention to detail and ability to review and sort records in accordance with the client procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure collective goals are met.
- Strong interpersonal skills to guide professional interactions with client and company onsite management.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight while meeting productivity and work quality standards.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active Tier 3 Public Trust, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Two (2) years of general administrative, mail sorting experience and with customer interface.
- Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PPT, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio).
